The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
The North Iowa Walk will be held at NIACC and volunteers will support the event by greeting participants and assisting with various needs. It's a great opportunity to support a cause and get to know people in our community.
Volunteers will team up with someone from the Walk Planning Committee and be assigned a location or task upon arrival. Options may include:
- Greeters
- Registration
- Donation station
- Refreshments table (outside location)
- T-shirt table
- Garden Flower pick-up
- Children's station
All volunteers need to check in and sign a volunteer waiver at 11:00am. Meet Abby or Krista in the hallway outside the NIACC Auditorium. T-shirts will be provided for all volunteers. Please dress for the weather.
