Artoberfest is a fundraiser for the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum. The event involves patrons sampling beers or wines, listening to music, enjoying scrumptious food, and participating in silent and live auctions – all to benefit the museum. This year Artoberfest will be held on Friday, October 13th from 6-9 pm. All guest and volunteer during the even must be 21+.
Volunteers are asked to arrive ~5:45 pm to check in at the front desk of the Museum and learn their assignments. We have volunteers serve wine and other drinks at one of 2 bars. We also need volunteers to help with food service. Food servers will bring out fresh trays of food and plate food. Our auction volunteers will run winning bids to staff so items can be purchased and picked up. Finally, volunteers will help with cleanup after the event.
Volunteers are needed for the weeks leading up to the event to help with setup and food preparation. These volunteers can be 16+.
