Trade Simulator Day is a short program that gives high school students career knowledge of trades careers in a simulated environment. There will be a welding, heavy equipment, and CDL driving simulator available for students to try out.
Welding activity volunteers will show students how to use the welding simulator. There are four 30-minute sessions that students will rotate through. Prior welding knowledge is encouraged, but not required. Training required.
Meet for your shift at 8:30am or 11:30am in the Muse Norris Conference Center (NC 180). Check in at the white desk outside the Conference Center. Feel free to dress casually, preferably in NIACC apparel. Lunch is provided for both shifts at 11:30am.
You will be contacted after responding to set up a time for training.
