This is special opportunity for Promise Scholarship Recipients. The NIACC Foundation is hosting a fundraiser called, A Night at the Ballet. The funds raised at this dinner will go towards scholarships like yours. It's a perfect way to say thank you and complete most of your community service hours all at once!
Volunteers will meet at the AC Food Court to help load vehicles and transportation to the venue will be provided (if desired). The fundraiser will take place at the Elks Lodge in Charles City, IA. When you sign-up, note whether you would like transportation or if you will drive separately.
At the dinner volunteers will work alongside catering staff and local celebrity servers to prep and plate food. There may be a chance to interact with the guests as well. The fundraiser is a formal event so please come wearing black pants (leggings are ok), mostly black tennis shoes and a plain white t-shirt. You will get a chef coat to wear when you get to the venue. (Leave a note in the comments if you need help obtaining these items).
