Mason City Youth Task Force

The Mason City Youth Task Force established the One on One Mentoring Program in 1998. Our program provides mentoring services to youth in Cerro Gordo County. The One on One Mentoring Program is similar to the Big Brothers Big Sister's model while upholding the Elements of Effective Practice that have been established by the National Mentoring Partnership. Our goal is to provide mentoring relationships for Cerro Gordo County youth, kindergarten-12th grade, which promotes relationship building and social skill development.

We recruit and train volunteers, and assist them to provide mentoring relationships for youth in North Iowa. Our goal is to provide area youth with mentors, who will promote positive relationships and social skill development.
